The farmers knew that they were in debt and did nothing about it they knew it was going to happen but instead of trying to prevent it they just kept doing what they've always done. And the food and wine they made were terrible. And next year the orchard will belong to the bank where they'll probably acution it. But the pears dont spoil because their canned and will last unlike the orchard.
