What do you think of the poem I wrote?

Sorry no offense, I didn't like it, found it trite, wondered if the final stanza refers to a soldier being brought tome, the stanzas need consistent formatting and I must say, to brag about 5 minutes did not impress me. There is a famous female poet who spent 5 years at a time writing and rewriting most of her work, before sending it to publish. One that was less than 150 words, she sweated and worried over, for 10 years.
