How to get a tan tattoo of an inverted cross?

I think tan tattoos are a great idea and I wanted to do an inverted cross on my hip. I'm going tanning tomorrow. And I don't have any stickers. Any other ways? Would cutting the shape out of white paper and using clear tape to tape it down work?
