DESPERATE - Sudden onset of very painful joints and other symptoms!?

I began taking Macrobid for a bladder infection last Thursday and later Friday evening my skin began to hurt all over and I got the chills, along with fever. I was up almost all night with severe pain in my knees, feet, and eventually my hips. I have had headaches and some nausea, but no vomiting. As of today it has been a week; the fever did seem to go away yesterday after taking extra strength tylenol around the clock. I cannot sleep as no one position is comfortable and I have some serious restless leg syndrome going on that also began with all of this. I have seen my PCP and he totally blew me off and was more worried about the bladder infection. Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
